About Us
farm /färm/ as a verb is the process of cultivation and nurture in an organic manner to promote sustainable, long-term value. /färm/ by marshall leigh forges a nebulous space between ready-to-wear and couture. Honoring the ease of luxury American sportswear and haute couture,
/färm/ is sieved through the lens of rustic, modern minimalism. Fabrics are manipulated by hand by Marshall in his studio, where all production is done in the United States. This organized, yet chaotic space is where the unpredictable is dis/uncovered through subtle juxtapositions that encompass structure, fluidity, reduction, the baroque, intentionality, the accidental, rawness, and refinement creating a gestalt of what we might call the ‘new ease.’
Our Aim
Our aim is to create clothes that slow down the fashion cycle, leaning into reflection, revision, repetition, and refinement. Each season is in relation to prior collections creating an aesthetic continuum expressed through a chic, timeless, and muted color palette. The creative director and founder, Marshall Leigh, graduated from NYC’s Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) and has worked for several fashion brands on 7th Avenue.
